My Place in This World™

Understand Who You Are. Build the Skills You Need. Find Where You Belong.

Clinical Knowledge. Practical Tools. Real Family Life.

My Place in This World™ brings together principles from mental health, child development, executive functioning, emotional regulation, attachment, trauma-informed care, family systems, and practical skill building.

But families don't live in textbooks.

They live in kitchens, bedrooms, classrooms, cars, workplaces, soccer fields, grocery stores, and around dinner tables.

That's where the tools have to work.

So everything we create comes back to one question:

mpitw1.jpeg

Can someone actually use this in real life?

Everyone is trying to find their place.

For some, that journey involves ADHD, executive functioning challenges, emotional intensity, anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, or simply feeling different from the people around them.

For others, the question is quieter:

Who am I? Where do I fit? What am I capable of becoming?

There Is a Place for You

Too often, people begin to define themselves by what is difficult.

My Place in This World™

  • The child who constantly hears, “Pay attention.”

  • The teenager who wonders why everything seems easier for everyone else.

  • The adult who has spent years trying to become more organized, consistent, or confident.

  • The parent wondering why every morning turns into an argument.

  • The couple who loves each other but keeps getting caught in the same painful cycle.

Is a family-centered collection of programs, resources, and experiences designed to help children, teens, adults, couples, and families better understand themselves, strengthen the skills that help them thrive, and build healthier connections with the people who matter most.

You don't have to have everything figured out to begin.

Sometimes finding your place starts with understanding yourself.

My Place in This World™ begins with a different question:

What if the problem isn't simply what's wrong—but understanding what is happening, what is needed, and what can be developed?

Skills can be learned.

Patterns can change.

Relationships can grow.

And people can discover a stronger sense of identity, purpose, connection, and belonging.

A Journey From Understanding to Belonging

The My Place in This World™ programs are built around a simple developmental journey:

1. Understand My Story

Before we can change patterns, we need to understand them.

Participants begin identifying their experiences, strengths, challenges, emotions, relationships, and the beliefs they have developed about themselves.

2. Understand How I Work

Brains and families don't all operate the same way.

We explore executive functioning, emotional regulation, attention, communication, relationships, and the patterns that influence everyday life.

Chaos to Consistency™

ADHD • Executive Functioning • Emotional Regulation • Family Systems

3. Build What I Need

Understanding is important—but skills create change.

Participants develop practical tools for regulation, planning, communication, follow-through, problem-solving, resilience, and healthier relationships.
